If your hermit crab behavior normal?

Hermit crab behavior can vary greatly from one individual to another. If you have more, I'm sure that you have recognized the fact that everyone has to go its own individual personality and character traits with him. A good indication of whether you are buying a suitable hermie for a pet to observe the hermie personality and habits when it is in its shell. Now I know this sounds a bit silly, but you can a lot about a hermie by how he responds when he is placed on the upturned palm to tell. When he comes pretty quickly then the signs are good, because he is obviously quite relaxed and curious about people. If he comes after a while, so that clicking noises, then he is curious, still scared, that's no bad thing. However, when he comes and tries to pinch you, then he is aggressive and likely to take a lot of taming to make a good pet.

Another way to assess the hermie's personality by to see them at other hermits and how they react. A friendly hermie after another gently touch its sensor hermie the sensor during an aggressive hermie will lunge toward the door of another hermie, spoiling for a fight. However, it is normal hermie habits and practices for a large group to consider pushing and climbing over and under one another. This is more like to play and is quite harmless behavior.

Digging and climbing are normal hermie practices in the wild and in captivity. It is therefore important to create a home and make sure your cat to dig enough sand, and that in which he has in which to climb a supply of shells, stones, wood and plants and explore. If your pet hermie seems to dig frantically, then he can also be re-skinning the normal crab behavior and vital, if he grow in size.

Nocturnal activities are an important part of the normal hermie practice and go a long way to explain how a clean and tidy crabitat is completely thrown away by the morning sun! Hermies tend to remain fairly inactive during the day and may well occur on Earth at sunset. If you keep more of the crawling creatures, it can be fun to watch all the activities taking place. Some of them make a mad dash for their food and water, while others will go frantically around the tank looking for places of possible escape. Resourceful crabs will eat, that they try to hide away for later, while others are more "fashion-conscious" crabs are on different shells. Often your crab is all piled on top of each other in an effort to get to the top of their tank, and this will explain why their climbing frame on its side is laying in the morning. Crabs can certainly wreak havoc in numbers!

Hopefully many similarities with respect to hermit crab behavior has covered, but you can find much more information in my website....
