Parrots are social
creatures like humans, which means they strive to meet their social
needs as we do. Remove birds from their natural habitat, forcing them to
then interact with completely different elements, which were rooted in
their nature to bear. With birds as pets owners approved now provide or
replicate this environment almost trick them into adapting to it. This
includes social bonding, training and feeding techniques.
Our
first parrot training comes with our ability to mimic the necessary
environment our parrots provide natural habitat. This begins with the
most important element, the social connection. Birds come from a herd in
general and enjoy a mutual social relation with other birds on a daily
basis. Pet owners need to embrace this social interaction with their
loved ones the importance of replication. This is where the central
component of the cage placement comes into play. As a general rule of
thumb, our parrots should be in an area of the house where social
contacts are held in high frequency cages. Most of the time, you want to
an area where several adjacent rooms and where a bird may be in some
sort of contact with people, regardless of where they decide to get to
settle in their homeland. Places such as a dark room or traffic areas
are sure to leave your pet alone and unhappy, which most likely lead to
increased behavioral problems.
Important Points On cage placement
Try
to avoid that your parrot in the cage in the middle of a room. Often
this leads never find the feeling of safety in your bird with a security
zone to which they usually find in a position in a corner. This kind of
place it is most likely an aggressive attitude that. Increased from the
fear of too much space Sometimes due to spatial problems within the
home are birds in the middle of a room. However, in these cases, be sure
to cover a minimum of 2 sides of the cage with a towel or a blanket to
give it the required effect.
Another
practice is overlooked bird owners often feel compelled her parrot cage
next to a window think the sunlight will be good place for them. While
this may be true, there are more negative effects in this type of cage
placement. Too much sun can your bird to overheat and can cause serious
injury to lead them. Alternatively, if the winter in your area have zero
temperatures, then birds freeze to death even with a blanket or towel
over the cage. Second, there are many predators outside the normally
hunt for many bird species. That is, intrinsically safe, locked in a
cage parrots can not find a way out of this kind of danger. Remember, it
is not whether we believe that they are sure it if they feel safe.
Finally,
try to avoid the positioning of your bird cage on level or on the
ground. Many studies have shown that birds are very unsafe on the
ground. This does explain why most birds are always trying to climb if
something or someone left on the ground. Birds have wings and if they
can not determine how good they find the confidence to fly at higher
altitudes. Who difficulties to feel vulnerable adapt to their immediate
environment. Birds are no different.
Having
owned several types of parrots over the years, I feel compelled to
share some of my knowledge on the subject with others. Many people love
their pets more deeply by bad environment to thrive for their birds.
Hopefully these tips will save you some training Parrot owners with
their pets to be subjected to harmful environments during their own
learning process.
