You really aquarium water changes?

Why aquarium water changes so important? Most experts say that water changes necessary to clean your aquarium should be filled through the elimination of waste and minerals in the water. Waste accumulates because of excess food. At the bottom of the tank due to overfeeding and the digested food that the fish falls Release These digested food uneaten and make the tank water toxic. In addition to the visible waste, we are told that it is also the invisible wastes such as nitrates and phosphates, which are also toxic. Some experts also say that by changing the water you need replenishing trace elements and minerals that fish.

These are both good reasons for recommending water changes, but really are an ineffective way to create a healthy, safe environment for your fish, especially not when you mention large or several tanks on the fact that they are messy and inconvenient.

Let's look at why water changes are not as beneficial as some experts would have you believe so. Is to change water to keep the water really clean? Look at it this way, if you are told to do a 20% water change on a 10 gallon tank, it means using 2 liters of dirty water and replaced it with 2 liters of clean water, which leaves you with 8 liters of dirty water. I'm not sure that's what we look for.

Here's another way to look at it. Suppose that your fish produce 10 TL. (TL) of waste per week. (Let us suppose, we started with no waste). At the end of the first week we will be 10 TL. Waste. If we do a 20% water change, then we remove 2 tsp. of waste, leaving us with 8 tsp. Waste. Now, the next week is the fish produce 10 more tsp. of waste and the 8 tsp. we did not remove the first water change, which gives us a total of 18 TL. Waste. On the second week we do it again, remove a 20% water change 3.6 tsp. of waste, leaving us with 14.4 tsp. Waste. Even if we do 20% water changes every week, our waste is accumulating rapidly that kind of power, why should we change the water begin to wonder.

The other point of water changes is to replenish trace elements and minerals. I for my part have no idea what I should replace elements and minerals and have no idea if the clean water that I'm putting back into the tank it contains. I add water to my tanks on a weekly basis, but only because of evaporation.

Now that we have established that water does not really an effective way of cleaning the water in the aquarium, we must ask ourselves, what is the alternative.

There are two things that you need. One is a good cartridge filter (cartridge filters are filtering wastes much better than any other type of filter) and the second is a water clarifier that works. The water clarifiers, you must be able to connect the microscopic waste (nitrates and phosphorus) with each other, so that the cartridge filter to stop them. There are many clarifiers on the market, but there is only one proven to work much better than everyone else, and that is always clear has....
