How to build a simple chicken coop

Before we get started I want to make sure that all your materials. We do not want you to go running off to the hardware store in the middle of a job. Your in luck, because it's really not that much material to build a basic chicken coop.
  •     5 long pieces of wood (for the coop-frame).
  •     11 short pieces of wood (for the frame and nesting sections).
  •     Some wire mesh (to remove the frame).
  •     Some pieces of chipboard or plywood (the nesting section enclosed)
  •     Some sawdust or straw (for the nesting
  •     Nails, hinges, and other small items.

Step 1 nail or screw only the shorter pieces of wood together into a form. If you count them, then you are just one piece, and that's good, because one of the "A" forms should only be a slant as "/".

Step 2 Now you want to take the longer pieces of wood and nail them to the top of the triangles so that all are connected to each of the "A" and "/" frame. "A_A __ / _A": The order should be as follows. Then two pieces of wood to the other long sides of the frame, where the - meets the "/". Then take the last 2 long pieces and nail them to the base. Once you are done, you should have a stable triangular prism.

Step 3 Now that you have a stable support that you need to actually put the wire mesh to protect your coop and run. Get some chicken wire, cut pieces and nail them encircle the majority of the coop. With the exception of the two bases, you will want to pin down the actual wood walls here.

Step 4 Now you just have to enter the nest. First completely enclose it with chipboard and wood (no mesh). Align the building in a nesting box and maybe a place to sleep depending on how much space you have. Then install on top of the chicken coop, a flap or a hinge so that you can reach and. Once you are done, you should have a full chicken coop. This is a portable size chicken coop that you can move it from place to place. The underside of the coop should be open. Although this makes it vulnerable from predators allows to browse the chickens. Depending on how hard it is, you can either draw or you can chain it to your truck and pull it around....
