How To Deal With Broody Hens

All animals on this planet have an innate instinct to reproduce. Where for some species this instinct only goes so far, just in the act of reproduction for other types they have a need to protect their young after they are born or hatched involved. A hen is a hen that has tapped to breed in their distress and hatch their eggs.

To reproduce by egg-laying hens, then after they laid several eggs as 6 or so they decide that's enough and incubate them. Only when the egg is incubated for several hours doing it is to activate the chicken inside and begins to develop. This is why several eggs hatch all at once instead of one by one in the order they were placed.

However, as someone who thinks chickens collects the eggs of the hen is not able to collect enough eggs to make to reach this critical stage where it starts broody. But sometimes gets a chicken with so that their eggs removed, that they decide that they do not need frustrated 6 or 8 eggs, they decide they need only 1 or 2 They are broody with only a small number of eggs. Some types of chickens are broody rather then other.

With a mother hen often considered a bad thing, if the size of your herd (at this point simply no longer collect eggs) would increase. They are many reasons why this is a bad thing. The most obvious is that the hen stops laying eggs. You can also not be able to get the eggs to be involved, unless you want to sit pecked viciously to collect. Another less obvious problem is that sometimes broodiness can be contagious until all your chickens are broody.

Many people are afraid that their mother hen die of hunger because they do not always seem to leave their nest. But you need not worry about the hen will leave to eat and drink, but only if your probably not around.

A chicken is rather broody in the spring of the second year. It should be noted that if you do not have a cock then ever hatch any eggs, because they are not fertilized ... but try to tell that to the chickens! The healing of a broody hen, as long as the chicken is broody vary. Therefore it is important to recognize, broodiness before it becomes a problem. When the chicken broody only for a short time then take them out of the nest and collect their eggs. If they have already broody longer then you will need to separate them from the herd in a cooler environment for a few days. Sometimes you need the nesting box or just temporarily disable it from....
