Momentum and Forward Motion

Before we can begin to explain and understand, you need to understand movement or any kind of movement that we have, that every movement begins with the leg. And every move is done right or wrong must be understood so that we know what has happened, as the horse moves are.

The cycles of the steps of moving gears, and are referred to as detail below in greater detail. But, the gaits movement patterns carried out by the forward movement or power has enable. Each program begins with the movement of the rear leg, the next stage for moving the opposite end. This is done in this way due to the fact that the horse has a lateral support animal. What this means is that the horse has at opposite corners to support (a rectangular shape) of his body.

Even if a horse is stationary the majority of the horse's weight is supported by opposing a front leg and the rear leg. One point with your own horse, which is limited in a certain area to do, though it might ~ for a period of time, you will notice that the horse shift his weight from one front foot to the other is stands. When it shifted his weight from one front foot to the other, you will also notice that the weight-bearing leg in the back also changes when it does it changes almost always on the opposite rear leg of the front leg, the burden is bone

It is necessary to understand that the front leg does act independently and is a supporting means for the opposite hind leg to be. It is the statement that present us with a very simple explanation of forward movement and how it affects allows the movement of the horse.

"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" The previous statement is the basis for understanding the forward movement, but it needs to be doing in a way that makes it easier to understand how they relate to the movement of the horse, will be examined. So what we will do is break the statement into sections that relate to certain movements of the horse.

"For every action" This is the first movement that is produced by the horse, the starting point for the lifting and advancing movement of the rear leg. Then again, that the rear leg of its forward motion cycle is completed and returned to the ground, the second part of the statement comes into force.

"Is there an equal and opposite reaction" Once that the rear leg finished its cycle and returns to the bottom of the opposite front leg starts to leave the ground and continue until it is terminated by its cycle. This then starts a process of ongoing alternating legs in motion, as the gait of the horse is called.

Before we can proceed at this point it must be understood that each pair of legs have to fulfill a certain task ~ not only when standing, but especially during the movement cycles or gaits are.

The front legs have two functions that need to run it at some point these two features to act together independently and at different times. The original function of the front legs is provided as a point of rotation with which the horse body weight to be adjusted from the front to the rear as is necessary, while none of the necessary movements act. In addition to being a fulcrum, the front base legs as lateral (side to side) The possible movements.

The rear legs of the horse muscle attached to the largest mass within the body structure of the horse, which is also the largest part of the overall horse. The hindquarters are where all of the known force that creates movement to the front and was also known as the "engine" of the horse, because that's where all the power of the horse is. With the creation of the hindquarters force used to initiate forward movement, it is also the hindquarters to control the forward motion or momentum.

The understanding of the large amount of force that is accumulated in the hindquarters and how it is achieved, we then can on the understanding that the same strength can be used to initiate movement was then assists the movement of the cycle the forward motion going. It is also to be understood that if the forward movement starts, and then come into play to assist the movement of the horse additional parts of the movement. There are two other parts of the forward movement, we need to understand, and they are dynamic and inertia.

With a view to more dynamic we need to be aware that it is in three parts, from which the dynamic cycle is broken.

1). The momentum is ~ when the movement of the rear legs is initiated to start the transition.

2). Background ~ dynamics, the movement of the front leg to help balance and support the pivotal factor as explained above. It is at this point that the front leg or the pivotal point of support now supports the majority of the body weight, it be the horse in a position to bring the opposite hind leg in a forward motion, setting the cycle time for the final part of the momentum cycle.

3). Supporting Members momentum ~ is the ongoing dynamics of the process that allowed it to happen and always in an endless loop until it necessary to stop the process.

I have not been able to come up with a better way to explain dynamics and how it relates to the horse than what I have just explained. The other point to be taken into account is the fact, or the presence of inertia. Is nothing but inertia mass in motion. What is meant here is that the force of inertia, which was created to the horse, is to continue moving. Inertia also plays an important role in maintaining the momentum, it is his supportive factor of movement or motion, the continuing dynamics can be part of. When it is necessary to overcome the movement of the horse and dynamic inertia and then be reversed to stop. Stopping the horse is the true overcoming and resolution of dynamism and inertia.

What had just covered the basics of forward movement, as it works in the horse. We could many other factors that need to happen and also to control forward movement talk process, but these are more specific and explain how we will cover the areas of the body of the horse and the rider's function in relation to the movement of the horse....
