Facts about Ferrets

Ferrets are certainly lovable and cute pets. They have average life span of 8 years, but can live up to 11 or 12 years. The male ferret known as jills and the female ferret known as hobs. The babies are known as kits. In North America, the castrated females are often called sprites and neutered males are known by the name of gibs. What do you call a group of ferrets?
